Speed and Speed Graphs Test

This is more than a “definition style” motion exam!

Grades 7 and Up

Get kids THINKING with our Speed Graphs Test!  There are diagrams and simple graphs to analyze, and the questions mimic how NGSS-based standardized tests generally ask about this topic. This middle school-level test covers speed and speed graphs. Questions include simple speed calculations and analysis of provided graphs. The open response question has students plot a speed graph from given data, and then answer some analysis questions about it.

The test has 14 multiple-choice questions and is one page long (front/back). There is also an answer sheet that contains a space for students to record their answers to the multiple-choice questions and answer the open response.
