Part 1:Â Students write an “If…Then” hypothesis for each St. Patrick’s Day-themed scenario and identify the independent and dependent variables within their statements. Each scenario is designed to teach a little true trivia about St. Patrick’s Day legends, as well (completely non-religious).
Part 2:Â Students design experiments for 3 humorous St. Patrick’s Day-related hypotheses. They describe an experiment, list some controls, and identify the independent and dependent variables for each.
