This is a simple and straightforward 10-question quiz on Newton’s 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Law of Motion.

Students are given examples such as “two ice skaters push off of each other on the ice, and both move backward” or “a person’s body is thrown forward when the driver of the car hits the brakes”, then must state which Law of Motion is best demonstrated by that example, the 1st, 2nd or 3rd Law.

Save time! The quiz is a HALF PAGE, so you make half the copies, then cut them in half. There are two versions of the quiz provided. They have the same 10 questions arranged in a different order. So, wandering eyes will see a quiz that looks like their own but has a different answer order.
