This Earth Day WebQuest is a multi-part activity that focuses on all the different ways humans affect our Earth – from pollution to habitat destruction to climate change. Students will visit provided websites to answer questions related to human impact on the environment.
Use this internet activity to give an overview of human impact on Earth to honor Earth Day, to begin a human impact unit, to review after a human impact unit… or to bring awareness to environmental issues at any time!

The webquest addresses the following topics:
Minimize Broken Link Issues: A nice feature of this WebQuest is that each topic has its own website, so if one website is “down” unexpectedly, it won’t affect the whole webquest experience. PLUS, the vast majority of questions can be answered through Google in a pinch. Also – this webquest doesn’t link to any videos, so noise in the classroom will not be an issue.
