Set of 3 quick energy review games for middle school – fun as stations! Includes the following games:
1. Test Review Taboo – Played in pairs, students review vocabulary terms with a set of 14 game cards. Each card has a word that Player #1 must get Player #2 to say – but the trick is they are given several words they can’t use in their effort. This gets kids to think about the terms on a deeper level by avoiding the definition words they are accustomed to using.
2. Energy Chain Puzzle – Students create a domino-like chain from phrases and definitions. Students are given 14 boxes with 2 phrases each, one on each side. Students must match the right side of the box to a matching word or phrase on the left side of another box. They repeat to form a long chain.
3. Energy “Cootie Catcher” – Students complete a “cootie catcher” paper foldable with answers to energy questions, fold the paper according to given directions, then play with their creation.
