Natural Selection Online Activity

In this natural selection online activity, students pretend to be birds eating peppered moths in both light and dark forests! In this FUN and NO-PREP peppered moths activity, kids will see for themselves how populations change over time due to natural selection. Fun for NGSS MS-LS4-4!

This is a relatively quick activity – plan for about 30 minutes.

In this activity, students will:

  • PERFORM A NATURAL SELECTION SIMULATION by pretending to be a bird eating moths in different environments.
