This mass and weight comparison worksheet gives middle school students 28 different scenarios, and they must decide if that scenario would cause mass and weight (separately) to increase, decrease or stay the same. For example, when given the scenario “Your classmate flies in the space shuttle and docks with the International Space Station that orbits Earth”, students would need to state that mass would stay the same, but weight would decrease. Students then create 2 similar scenarios of their own.
