In this activity, students will:

  • READ an article to review the basics of graphs. The article reviews the parts of a graph (x- and y-axis, graphic title, scale, etc.), the types of graphs typically used in science (line, bar, pie), and the basics of how to read a graph.
  • ANSWER QUESTIONS on a corresponding worksheet. The worksheet reviews the information in the text and has students read very, very basic graphs to get them started reading graphs or refresh their skills.
